Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 June 2026
Unity Systems (a business of Dailye Pty Ltd) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, and your rights. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
1. Who we are
In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Unity Systems / Dailye Pty Ltd, a Melbourne-based IT partner providing managed IT support, cyber security and automation services. You can reach us using the details in the "Contact us" section below.
2. The personal information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact & assessment enquiries: when you use our contact form, your name, email address, phone number, business name and the details of your enquiry.
- Security Scorecard: when you use our self-assessment tool, your email address and the answers you provide (which are self-reported and not technical scans of your systems).
- Direct contact: any information you choose to give us when you call or email us.
Information we collect automatically
- Usage data: when you visit the site we collect standard analytics information such as the pages you view, the site you came from, your approximate location (derived from your IP address), and your device and browser type.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see "Cookies & analytics" below.
3. Cookies & analytics
- Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC): we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. This uses cookies and collects usage data as described above. You can learn more in Google's Privacy Policy, and you can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or your browser's cookie settings.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics: a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics service that gives us aggregate visit statistics without tracking you across sites.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: we use this on our forms to tell humans from bots and reduce spam. It may collect limited technical information to make that assessment.
You can disable or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.
4. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiries and provide quotes, assessments and services you request;
- To send you your Security Scorecard results and any follow-up you've asked for;
- To operate, secure, maintain and improve our website and services;
- To prevent spam, fraud and misuse; and
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
We only use your information for the purposes for which it was collected, related purposes you would reasonably expect, or where you have consented or the law permits.
5. When we disclose your information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us run our business and website, including:
- Our website hosting, security and analytics providers (including Cloudflare and Google);
- The tools we use to receive and process form submissions and to send email (for example, our workflow-automation and email-delivery providers); and
- Professional advisers, or government and law-enforcement bodies where required or authorised by law.
These providers are only permitted to use your information to provide their services to us.
6. Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers (for example, Google and Cloudflare) store and process information on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States. Where we disclose information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
7. How we protect your information
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference and loss, and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure — including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls and reputable, security-focused providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law, after which we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
9. Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to verify your identity first.
10. Direct marketing
If we send you marketing communications, we will only do so where you would reasonably expect it or where you have consented, and every message will include a way to opt out. You can also ask us to stop at any time using the contact details below.
11. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first and we will try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
